Adagio Aparthotel, Edinburgh

Part of the New Waverley development in Edinburgh and situated on the royal mile, the Adagio Aparthotel is a six-storey building holding 146 bedrooms. The listed Sailor’s Ark façade was retained as part of the development and incorporated into the design of the new hotel.

Vercon worked on the development to develop the vertical transport solution. Through passenger lift traffic analysis and design input, a tender specification for two MRL passenger lifts and an MRL service lift was delivered. Vercon continued to advise on the project throughout installation.
