This new mixed-use development features 315 co-living homes, ample amenity spaces, roof terraces with growing areas, and adaptable spaces. The buildings are connected at the ground floor with a clear entrance leading to a large, landscaped yard. This publicly accessible space is activated by a café and flexible co-working areas.
The project also involves transforming a historic former gunpowder mill on Trewint Street, along the River Wandle in Earlsfield, into a cultural hub. The buildings range from two to eight storeys, with two main structures—one facing the river and the other the railway—designed to avoid single-aspect north-facing rooms.
Vercon was tasked to deliver dynamic traffic analysis and expert planning guidance for the project, alongside developing a detailed specification document for the tender process. Partnering with leading lift suppliers, Vercon crafted a comprehensive lift solution that was specifically designed to meet and exceed the operational needs of the site. This lift package ensures smooth and efficient transportation within the development, aligning with the project’s high standards for functionality and performance.
