Southbank Place Building 5, the final phase of the Southbank Place development, will feature 92 apartments and 18,600 sq ft of retail space. The 15-storey building will have retail space on the ground floor, 88 apartments (one to four bedrooms) from Levels 01 to 11, and four double-height penthouse suites on Levels 12 and 13. Part of the Southbank Place masterplan and Shell Centre redevelopment, it will create a vibrant new quarter on the 5.25-acre site in the South Bank Conservation area, with views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
Vercon was tasked with providing dynamic traffic analysis and planning advice, as well as producing a specification document for tender. In collaboration with top lift suppliers, Vercon developed a comprehensive lift package consisting of 6 passenger/goods lifts and 1 platform lift, which have more than met the needs and requirements of the site.
