The project involves refurbishing and extending the former St Crispin’s House in Norwich city centre into a 684-bedroom student accommodation. The existing 1970s office building was stripped to its shell and core, retaining the structure while adding two floors to create a 7-storey building with a 5-storey rear extension. The development features a landscaped central courtyard, gym, study spaces, multi-purpose event room, bike parking, and EV charging points.
Vercon was tasked with providing dynamic traffic analysis and planning advice, as well as producing a specification document for tender. In collaboration with top lift suppliers, Vercon developed a comprehensive lift package consisting of 5 passenger/goods lifts, which have more than met the needs and requirements of the site.
